New England Laser Lipo is the premier cosmetic treatment center in the Worcester area for non-surgical facial rejuvenation. We are pleased to offer Juvéderm, a hyaluronic acid filler from the makers of Botox. Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, is one of the latest advancements in filler technology and has become a favored compound for restoring volume and fullness to the face.
*Disclaimer: results may vary from person to person
Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid filler from Allergan, the makers of Botox® – a name you can trust. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is found naturally in the body and acts as the body's internal moisturizer. As we age, HA diminishes and contributes to wrinkles and lines around the mouth, nose and eyes. Juvéderm restores hyaluronic acid in the skin, smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles.
Juvéderm is biosynthetic and of non-animal origin. Since it is not created from an animal source and non-protein based, there is little chance of an allergic reaction. The formula is highly biocompatible, and no testing is required prior to administration.
Juvéderm is long lasting - up to six months or longer.* It is also the only HA dermal filler FDA approved to be safe and effective for all skin types and colors. As with other hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, Juvéderm is gradually absorbed naturally into the body.
What to Expect with Juvéderm®
Juvéderm injections are simple and comfortable. You will be treated in our Shrewsbury cosmetic treatment center. The injection itself takes about 15 minutes. There is minimal recovery or downtime.
Juvéderm is specially formulated with lidocaine, an anesthetic, for a more comfortable treatment. Using a fine needle, your cosmetic doctor will inject the Juvéderm formula into the area to be treated.
You may experience pain, tenderness, temporary redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, and bumps at the injection sites. Studies have shown that these are usually mild to moderate in nature and clear up on their own in 7 days or less.*
You will notice an immediate improvement in the appreance of the treated areas. A single Juvéderm treatment can last up to one year.* Results will vary and some patients may benefit from "touch up" treatments to achieve and maintain optimal correction of wrinkles and folds.
Who will perform my treatment?
One of our cosmetic doctors will meet with you prior to treatment and perform your injection. Our physicians are highly trained, specializing in cosmetic treatments. You can be sure that your treatment will be administered to achieve optimal, natural looking results.
Am I a candidate for Juvéderm treatment?
Do not use Juvéderm if you:
- have an infection where Juvéderm will be injected
- are allergic to any of the ingredients in Juvéderm
- are pregnant or think you might be pregnant
